How many of you (or yr child) had a 2nd Endoscopy to assess villi healing & the compliance with a GF diet?

Endoscopies very close together- 18 years ago, I had them around 2 mths apart .
I only had one endoscopy and that was 11 years ago - I would refuse another one, as I have trouble with my throat so the camera is out for me. I wouldn't mind another test (if there is one?) other than an endoscopy.
I had endoscopy upon diagnosis and pill cam a year after, very interesting test indeed seeing your stomach in realtime. Would much prefer the pill cam again!
A second endoscopy, a few years ago, 12 months after diagnosis. Villi healed wonderfully. 
First diagnosed 1955 had a capsule X-ray guided biopsy in 1962. Weaned back onto normal foods. May 2007 endoscopy/biopsies = active CD. Jan 2011 repeat endoscopy/biopsies Marsh 0 biopsy. recovery. Total gluten avoidence
My NHS trust does not do 2nd biopsies unless there is an obvious problem. I am struggling, so I'm hoping they will relent in my case. When I was diagnosed (at a different trust), I was told they would do a repeat biopsy at 12mths to check how I'm healing. Postcode lottery it seems...
Nope, never been suggested and I haven't mentioned it
