Social Security is a new service that will take over from the DWP in Scotland, this will include launching new benefits for people who have a disability to replace the current benefits from the DWP
As part of this new service, they want to make sure that they get it right for those who need it and are therefore holding some informal research sessions in the coming weeks to find out what is working well / what could be improved.
In order to achieve this, they would very much like to speak with people who may be eligible for Adult Disability Payment, the Scottish equivalent to Personal Independence System (PIP), which is moving over to Social Security Scotland. The informal research sessions are planned for 17th, 18th or 19th November. The interviews will be one to one, last roughly around 75 minutes and will be conducted remotely via screen sharing software.
