Cauda Equina Syndrome

My consultant has safety netted me regarding "cauda equina syndrome" not sure what safety netted means, is he saying I have it or does he suspect I have it?

I`m so confused right now and not sure what to think? I`m really worried about what the future holds for me if I do have it.

Could anybody shed some light on this for me please, if possible?

Thank you for reading.

How are you doing - have things got better?

Hi Claire_Cauda.

In answer to your question, unfortunately no. I`m still waiting on Rheumatology to give me an appointment date. I have noticed a bit of numbness in my lower spine recently but not sure if that is due to the pain or something else. Thank you for asking though.
