Does anyone have any advice for someone who wants to give up? I’ve tried all treatments possible. I have no energy left and my pain is 24/7. I’m considering packing in working. I’m having mental health problems on top. The world just feels too much at the moment 😔 fibromyalgia is so hard to bare!

Hi I’m sorry you have come to this feeling of giving up I can only tell you that I did actually give up when I got to this phase in our condition... I got a Fitnote off my GP she was very understanding after years of visits and going thru various medications and treatments from trying different medicines going thru physiotherapists for treatments including acupuncture aswell as various exercises to a course of pain management at pain clinic eventually I gave up an decided with the quote from my employer saying to me ( why are you still working when you have no quality of life because of it ) and he was right so I got my fitnote and started to take time out I got mental health therapy and done a lot of research and I’m actually trying one thing that no gp or physio therapist or rheumatologist or mental health therapist had ever suggested or advised me on but I found thru a lot of research and that’s my Diet... food has a lot of influence on our body and our mind, I have halved the amount of pain pills I take so far in my new way of eating I have also had to keep myself away from stress and mental health triggers which unfortunately includes some family members and friends who cause me stress or trigger my mental health in any way at all and keep those people to a minimum in my life but this may sound weird but it’s all helped.. but taking time out from a job to help heal yourself if you can manage with out the financial support from working and working on yourself for a few months maybe worth the effort I have been getting my fitnotes extended for a few months now and transforming my lifestyle and I feel it’s helping it’s not going to cure me but it’s definitely helping me and I’m hoping after the Covid period that maybe il be just about fit enough and stable enough to go back to work just part time sorry for the essay but thought I would give you an idea of what I did when I was feeling just like you a few months ago.... good luck in what ever you find that will help to cut your feelings and suffering down it won’t go away but it can be managed a little better with a little effort and some changes we have to be strict with ourselves tho and miss out on a lot of what we call a normal person can do in life ... hope you find some thing that helps 🙂

Hidden, I don't know the treatments you have used so I'll provide information about TTFD thiamine such as Lipothiamine or fat soluble forms in the first link below. These are forms not found in B Complex formulations. Thiamine requires adequate magnesium such as magnesium glycinate for bioavailablity. Pain causes loss of magnesium. I've also included in the third link a list of other nutrients to research. Also eonutrition has videos on youtube to provide additional insights on thiamine. Please benefit from it. I hope this information offers the relief you have been searching. Always consult your health care professional before using any supplement.
