Sensory breaks

Hi All,

Sorry for the question here , but at the end of school term we was told my our senco teacher that she will be introducing more sensory breaks for our adopted son.

After reading round for a while on this , well several weeks, we wanted to ask the group does anybody have this done to their children .

Our understanding is that FAS children become sensory overloaded at school , so to ease this the senco teacher is introducing more sensory breaks to avoid overload? Which in some respects we would agree , but what about playground or breaks?

Does anybody else have these?

Regards D

Hiya, my adopted daughter doesn't get any sensory breaks, but I'm sure she'd benefit from them.

It sounds like you are lucky and have a good sending.

Please post back about how your son gets on I'm really interested.
