If he has been diagnosed with fasd then the neighbours doing the complaining maybe would be more tolerable if they understood his condition a little. The same applies with the police and anyone else who is usually in regular contact with him .Not everyone will listen but it is a starting point possibly to be built on over time.Good luck... and of course all children should be able to play with eachother some just need a little more supervision than others.

Good Morning,

No doubt the diagnosis comes both as a shock and a relief at the same time.

Before you can begin to educate family, friends and neighbours about fasd you will need to learn as much as you can yourself.

The trust website has loads of info and the Internet is full of stuff from the medical and personal point of view.

Please use this site to exchange experiences, there are many of us going through similar circumstances.

You are not alone !

Very best wishes
