I pray every morning for the strength to stay away from a drink. And it works for me. Left to my own devices I am powerless over alcohol and my life was unmanageable. I need help to stay sober a day at a time. I get my support from a power greater than myself. And that power comes in the form of a group of other recovering alcoholics.

oops! I just saw your post. Thank you for your support. I made it through Saturday, so today, Sunday, I won’t be sitting on my laurels and hopefully, still sober when my head hits the pillow.

One day at a time actually means something important to me....yesterday's regrets and guilt are gone, I can't change what's already happened.....and don't worry about tomorrow, it isn't here yet....so all I can only deal with is today,
