Hi my husband is diabetic too.If urine is dark and cloudy that's time to worry.

Urine should be clear (straw colour). Dark urine suggests that you are not drinking enough.

Clear urine is a healthy sign. Confirm with the sugar reading though. Relax

How was your previous urine ?

Nope on a low carb eating plan ;)

It suggests to me that you are drinking plenty of fluids which you need to do on a low carb diet anyway. Just keep an eye it though

The only suggestion I have is to not worry about the clear urine. We had dinner at a certain restaurant the other week, the food was packed with carrots. My urine became bright orange and it was a few days before I remembered the carrots. I believe the carrots were the root of my dilemma. Best wishes.

My personal favorite is green pee - from asparagus, red pee from beets, yellower from turmeric - get the picture yet? You are what you eat, dark smelly pee could be infection if in doubt check it out.
