Exercise is a very good 'medicine" for especially Type 2 Diabetes M (T2DM), and it is recommended that addition to drugs, and dietary change. I am 63, and have T2DM, and fact, it works so well in for me that i can skip drugs for as long as keep exercising. Any exercise (physical activity) however little helps and a brisk walk of a kilometer or two a day is does wonders for me. You may wish to try this lubagash!

Agree that exercise helps, I am type 2 on medication Metformin x 3 and Glicazide x 2.5 per day, but sometimes when checking at night my bloods sugar is over 10, in this case a walk for about 10-15 minutes and my level drops to about 7 before I go to bed, and is back within normal range in the morning.

I took oral meds for several years but with careful eating habits, my doctor has weened me off all of them and I just get checkups every few months.
