My story…

so I am 28 years old and I have 2 daughters with a man that I’ve been with for 10 years. Maybe I’m crazy I don’t know… he’s very controlling everything has to be his way 24/7 he puts holes in the walls, calls me names, screams and cusses at me all the time….. idk what to do anymore I’m scared to leave because it’s going to trigger him and he will go crazy again and I will never be able to leave safely like this…. I’m lonely hes taken me from all family and friends I’m always home… if I go anywhere it’s with him because he doesn’t let me go anywhere alone. I don’t know where to turn anymore or who to talk to anymore. No one really understands what I feel or what I’m dealing with at this point. I’m not sure if this is the right place but it’s the only place I knew to turn to. Thanks for taking the time to read just a piece of my story.

I don't know if you'll see this since it's been a while since you posted. Document everything. If you can record any of it, do that too. Send it to anyone for safe keeping until you've had enough and are ready to leave. See if there is a domestic violence advocacy in your area and contact them.

He is a narcissistic, disgusting person who thrives on seeing you belittled. He gets satisfaction from seeing you unhappy, and don’t forget, your children will be learning and they will bring their childhood into their adulthood.

Why do you have to leave your home please call the police telling them what you’re going through.. also check with your citizens, advice bureau and they will get you legal aid. He is deliberately separate you from family and friends so you cannot run to them because he wants total control of you and your situation.

There is so much help for you. Also make an appointment with your doctor and tell him everything that you are suffering from. It helps to be able to talk. Also it’s in your medical records . Please do something positive because you’re stronger than you think. I, and others who have suffered abuse, understand greatly what you were going through. You have many friends who will help you but you must reach out and seek help. Take care and always remember you’re stronger than what you think. God bless you Liz x
