Who has tried the Requipt patch before and how did you like it? My husband's doctor says they are coming out with a new one next month.
I am to go on this medication after next week
Have been warned to contact Dr if I feel nauseated.
I am always so wary of any drugs the side effects are often worse than the condition. We shall see.
I shall put my comments on here.
I used it the first week that I was diagnosed in 2008. It was fabulous and then it was pulled from the market at the end of that week. I cried. Now I'm used to ReQuip XL so I probably won't change.
I was on the Neu-Pro patch before the FDA pulled it from the market. I loved it. I had no side effects and was able to decrease my Sinemet dosage and times. I plan to ask my neurologist to put me back on it now that it is on the market again.
Thank you all for your input! I will pass this on to my husband. He is looking forward to it and hopes he will do well and also can cut down on the sinemet.
Gave me skin rash and felt sickly with no benefit. Not impressed but that's just me, it may be the Holy Grail for you - I hope so. Good luck.
