Oh dear, what out of date dietary advice. Most of the cutting edge experts on nutritipn say that you shouldn't drink fruit juices because they're too high in sugar and have most of the protective fibre of the original fruit stripped out. She also does not see anything wrong with eating bread. Bread is far removed from being wholegrain even if it it labeled so. It's made with flour from grain which has been milled to within an inch of its life, had all the protective husk and protein packed germ sieved out so that there is little more than gluten and starch left. When she showed a picture of the 1970s food pyramid I gave up watching.

Many of the gut issues occur because people are eating large quantities of milled grain. The only whole grain that they're eating is the few sprinkled on top of their gluten packed fluffy half white or coloured loaf.

Fibre is not essential, it protects you from carbohydrates but if you don't eat carbs you don't need fibre. The ultimate low fibre and low carb (also low allergenic) diet is a pure carnivore diet which many find beneficial. youtu.be/Sikx_OCSxcs?si=mNP...
