I'm 70 and I think the drugs culture of the 70's somehow avoided me. My wife and I were once at a part - in the 70s - asked if we would like to try some Cannabis but we declined and now I would try it for my Pd if it were available legally as it has a strong reputation amongst my PwP friends in swomew US Sta

I asked my husband, who has PD, if he would take it, since it is now legal (though not available) in Massachusetts. He'd be leery because we've never talked to other PD patients. Recently we heard that a number of PwPD use it for their symptoms. 66% of the State voted for MM and 68% locally. The voters have bigger hearts and greater understanding than our cautious political leaders.

We are both 71 now and I think it's unfortunate that we can hold ourselves back out of fear of illegality. Though we've always been law abiding people, there may come a time when my husband uses it. (If it relaxes people, I may try it when all marijuana is legalized).

Good luck and keep us updated.

For those of you who answered yes, could you please respond how it helps ou.

My husband mixes a small amount of THC with honey! He takes a very small amount prior to bedtime! 1/8 teaspoon. We live in Florida so he has a Medical Marijuana card. When we were in Michigan last summer, he went to a MJ dispensary in Ann Arbor, that’s where he first purchased the THC honey mixture. Our Florida dispensaries don’t carry the honey mixture so he makes his own. He uses a pint size jar of honey and a very small amount of THC. Michigan no longer honors MM cards from other states!

I reside in North Carolina. Medical Marijuana I believe is just available for children with epilepsy in this state but I will ask my doctor next week. I am open to alternative therapies. And apparently MM has few side affects.
