I don't use cannabis recreationally but medicinally. I hate feeling stoned so I take high CBD cannabis which relaxes my muscles enough to let me sleep at night. It also helps with anxiety.

CBD is the cannabidiol cannabinoid of cannabis (say it fast 3 times). Unlike the more popular THC cannabinoid (apparently cannabis comprises over 85 different cannabinoids) it doesn't produce a 'high' yet offers greater medical benefits. It is neuroprotective and carries a "superior antioxidant activity". Israel has patented a medicinal strain 'Avidekel' which offers the greatest CBD content at 15% without the THC (0%).

Cortico-Basal Degeneration.

Taken from wikipedia:-

Corticobasal degeneration (CBD) or Corticobasal ganglionic degeneration (CBGD) is a rare, progressive neurodegenerative disease involving the cerebral cortex and the basal ganglia.[1] CBD symptoms typically begin in people from 50–70 years of age, and the average disease duration in six years. It is characterized by marked disorders in movement and cognitive dysfunction, and is classified as one of the Parkinson plus syndromes. Clinical diagnosis is difficult, as symptoms of CBD are often similar to those of other disorders, such as Parkinson's disease (PD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), and Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB).
