Aquafit twice a week. Long walks roughly 3 times a week & yoga up until a few months ago but hopping to get back to it soon.

Mediterranean diet.

Practice mindfulness

Physio when I had calcium on my shoulder & couldn’t move it. The guy was brilliant & basically said move it or lose it. I do exercises every morning & it really helps.

Diet should be No 1, 2 and 3 at the same time as it's the only cure that we have against Arthritis. My cure is Kefir 48h fermented oats, could not recommended it more as it saved my life. Pain is GONE! Don't have any swelling, morning stiffness is gone too. Don't feel like I'm gonna die in the morning and generally feel 100% better during the day. I walk now, while a three weeks ago I needed a crutch. Could not recommend it more.

No 4 could/should be Hot/Bikram Yoga as it helps a lot too.

I walk in a mall 3 times a week with a friend, before the stores open.

Vesa, mightn’t you consider adding Lifestyle/ Diet (L/D) as a ’holistic method’? 🤔

For some (many?) of us, what we routinely ingest (several times a day) IS a (the?) major factor in managing our symptoms? 🤔

[Something like a Pareto principle equation: "The Pareto principle (also known as the 80/20 rule, the law of the vital few, or the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. ( en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Par... )"]

In other words, the majority of positive results in managing our symptoms, comes from the twin efforts of watching what we eat* (& what we avoid eating) in conjunction with our exercise/ movement** practices? 🤔

.

And, the remaining ‘holistic methods’*** we implement account for the residual ‘holistic’ positive results? 🤔

.

Merely food 🥘 🥗 🍱 for thought 🤔 💭 .

Fresh fruit, veg, fish and some meat. Try not to eat too much refined sugar and ready made food. I am also celiac.
