Would you want to know if your child carries a gene mutation that would predispose them to getting cancer? Like Lynch Syndrome.

Gene mutations that are hereditary are called germline mutations. With NGS (Next Generation Sequencing), we have the ability to know if the child has a mutation prenatal. This enables developing a protocol for surveillance screening and testing.

I am a stage 4 colon cancer survivor with Lynch syndrome and I know hindsight is 20:20, but if we have the ability to know something early that is highly preventable yet so deadly if not caught early, I think you should know that. In a lot of health related disease, what you can know and when you can know it is amazing and advancing all the time. We have the tools.👍❤️🧬
