Yes, I had biomarker testing and my doctor discussed it with me and what it meant for my treatment options.

I checked No for biomarker because I never heard that word before and am quite ceratin I never had it prior to treatmant. However AFTER my operation etc I had GENETIC testing to see if I had the gene to pass it on. Not sure if this is the same thing.

Thanks for taking the poll! Biomarker testing is sometimes refered to as molecular or genetic testing.

No nothing was ever discussed about biomarker testing, but I have had genetic testing for melanoma which I’ve had and now I have passed on the gene to my daughter

Yes it’s CDKN2A I was worried in case there was a connection between my melanoma and the bowel cancer my daughter has the gene also and has 2 melanomas removed.
