What's the main piece of advice you would give... - CML Connect
What's the main piece of advice you would give to someone newly diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia?
When people have a vitamin b12 deficiency , a relative iron deficiency occurs because there is not enough b12 to help form blood cells . Your body will struggle and you are very likely to be iron deficient when you have cancer because cancer needs iron to grow and the body gets rid of it and your b12 serum level should in fact rise ( the body`s response to cancer ) . When iron deficiency caused by a lack of vitamin b12 is left for a long enough period , it will actually start to alter your DNA structure and if left for too long will cause changes to occur in the bone marrow ( leukaemia ) . If it were me who had been diagnosed , I know exactly what I would do . I would try to expand my lymphocyte count . These lymphocytes will fight off cancer for you . I would do this by saturating my self with vitamin b12 in the active form ( methylcobalamin ) .One of vitamin b12`s jobs is to switch off cancer cells . If you can afford it , having a methylcobalamin infusion or two would be a good idea . This puts vitamin b12 straight into your blood supply . These cost a few hundred pounds I believe . There is a company called REVIV who do this sort of treatment . I would start eating fermented foods such as Korean Kim Chi , beetroot , seaweed ( for b12 content ) . The other thing I would do is start using a methylcobalamin spray under my tongue at least four or five times per day . When I had built up my b12 levels , I would start adding in methylfolate as well . Good wishes
This is such a good explination - THNX - I use an integrative approach due to a compromised immune system from an Autoimmune disease and I'm a transplant patient. If I didn't have that complication (they of course treated the Autoimmune disease w pharmacology (Prednisone) in my twenties and so I never got to 'recover' and landed up with cirrhosis), knowing what I know now about the FACT that cancer is NOT a genetic disease, but a metabolic disorder, I wouldn't touch pharmacology ...... it breaks my heart to read all these awful renditions of what people have to live with, and there's HONESTLY NO NEED for it.
I would say read everything you can on CML. Realize that your life is going to change. Thankfully @ the chronic stage, this disease is highly treatable. Allow yourself to get the rest you need & try to eat a balanced diet. I started on the medicine almost two weeks ago. I find if I eat too much, I will get nauseous. My advice would be to eat small light meals to help cut down on the nausea.
Hello , I have cml + was very glad when the doctors at last put a name to the way I was feeling, ....headaches,tired out, unable to walk , bruises over my body, + no one would listen to me, because you can't see it. I have been on Glivec for 14.5 years, which was a trial from usa. I've had my ups __+ downs because of side affects but I have my life back. They gave me 2 weeks!....... Now we have to deal with this rotten virus which we could have done without, still keep going , I am grateful. I take a mulit vit, with iron + cal with vit D. Would like to sleep better as I suffer with back pain......
Regards D
There are many things to vastly minimize or eliminate any threat from the rotten virus too, despite age or "comorbids". God's elder children tend to die when it's our time, and labeling it covid is just a lie. But They don't want us to consider any of this, for many reasons. There's no $$ to be had from simple effective trtmnts & no need for jabs and that won't do at all. We are well on the way to needing so many it would formerly be unimaginable, while blaming not them, but only those of us who are wise to this. Do research but just consider how easy it is for them to deceive with tools such as goog**. Duck duck go - a much better bet but still u may need to skip the top results. If you do nothing else, even if you don't believe a thing I'm typing, consider that no one has died w/high vit d level. Science fact. Almost no one has high vt d. My own doc said so years ago., no matter how much sun you think you get. Unless you test between 50 and 90, it's inadequate. Vit d drops (tasteless. economical) or gel caps (convenient). 90 as ideal. Credibility of minimum rda is shot to hell. Americans rate very low on the health scale, even tho we pay the most. That should give you a clue.
