Had T , with earring loss a while, got earring aids, have had ear infections since last autumn, whenn T became permanent, dr gave me cyprofloxacin, then a few weeks later,doxycycline. Since then my Tinnitus has got louder in both ears, has anyone had any experience with same effects.

Similar experience - amoxicillin followed by doxycycline - over 3 months for a nasty sinus infection. Infection cleared but T set in post Christmas.
ENT consultant suggested working in a noisy setting with congenital hearing loss was cause.
