Are you sure that's not 158mm? At 158cm, unless you are exceptionally wide, your liver will extend quite some way outside the limits of your torso.

For your info, according to the info on the link below, normal liver size when measured on ultrasound is less than 16cm (160mm). Its size directly correlates with the height and body mass index and was larger in men.
