as i know LINAC is the best technology for radiation and it cost me 1.6 lakh for 5 weeks....Dr. your input required.

Hi ran_sav it depends on the city and the hospital. When we enquired for my sister the hospital had told 85,000/-. We went to a trust and it cost us 15,000/- for whole 25 to 30 cycles. Are you from Pune?

RapidARC is a type of LINAC with some advanced features of delivery of radiation. It will reduce the time for radiation radiation from several minutes to a few minutes. It is a type of IMRT.

Given a choice, I would suggest you to go for standard LINAC IMRT, as RapidARC is too costly. You may take it if it suits your budget
