Do you or does anyone in your family have a mutation in any of these genes: BRCA1, BRCA2, PTEN, TP53?

I had the BRCA 1 & 2 checked, and was told I don't have these genes. Never heard of the other ones. What do they show?

BRCA 1 and 2 were the first ones to be found. Now they can also test the genes PTEN and TP53. Looks these are not specific to breast cancer: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PTEN_...

Yes, have a terrible family history of ovarian cancer (95% of the females died before the age of 45) so was advised to have my ovaries removed at age 36. Both myself and a cousin had our ovaries removed and both of us ended up with breast cancer. Unfortunately she died a few years ago and I'm in my 3rd cycle of chemo. I'm told that I'm also at risk of colon/liver cancer and on a screening program for that
