I had my treatment in 2008. I had fantastic doctors and nurses right through. There was always someone ready to help. I appreciate all that was done for me, and my husband was supported to. I developed lymphoedema about 5/6 months after masectomy for grade 3 breast cancer. I occasionally get cellulitis which has been difficult when in need of antibiotics. I am only now getting thorough treatment with lymphoedema nurse and that was by chance. ...

My GP sent me to the dermatologist for skin rashes on lymphoedema arm, he dismissed me! ! The nurse sitting with me new what/ who to see so am now going for sleeve fitting. That's my story.

I also had great doctors/nurses taking care of me during my mastectomy and chemo. Glad you are doing better amelia :)
