Does anyone know of a good neurosurgeon anywhere in Scotland or north of England ? I'm willing to travel. It's to get a 2nd opinion on a small brain aneurysm and to see if I have an AVM, which the nhs one said I don't have. The MRA report said 'no superficial AVM detected', which makes me wonder if there may be one deeper in the brain. I have pulsatile tinnitus.

Mr Brocklehurst was my neurosurgeon back in 1987. He was a very clever man who started out as a Barnardos orphan. I don’t think he’ll still be alive thinking about it but I was at Hull Royal Infirmary and I think they have excellent neurological facilities

Hi there. Hope you are well sorry to hear about your news.

If you willing to travel in the north of England

The Walton centre in Liverpool is an excellent place to start.

It is a centre of excellence for neurosurgery.

My they have saved my life twice now actually following 2 brain anuerysms.

I can highly recommend mr yousaf for his professionalism and his experience I know that he specialises in anuerysms and AVMs

He is fantastic.

I hope you find the right neuro surgeon for you. I am wishing you all the best for the future!

xx
