Also anyone know how long we should wait to get eye tests as I think vision affected and that he may now need glasses, was borderline before.

Hi there. Its just personal opinion but I think go for an eye test as soon as he feels able/well enough. Vision problems associated with brain conditions are very common. I noticed my vision deteriorating after surgery to revise a VP Shunt. I never got headaches before I had glasses but suffered extreme fatigue. The optician said some of this was down to eye strain as I'm now very long-sighted.
