I also alternate between vegan and vegetarian lol .Dairy is rarely in my diet and use soya milk instead of cows. I am still on 10mg Amlodipine although my blood pressure is right down 135/85 from what it was.

waiting to see consultant in October to see if I have to stay on tablets but overall feel so much healthier.

In all its taken probably 3-4 months of No fat, no drinking or smoking. It wasn,t difficult as I just lost any interest in anything that poisons the system. (except chocolate buttons which I sometimes treat myself too ) lol. So everything combined seems to have reduced blood pressure, and given me so much energy. Following the John McDougall diet which is plant based and you can see his video and results all health conditions on you tube. Have a look because it certainly has brought my blood pressure down.

Its all pretty scarey but go to your local Boots or chemist if you can daily to get a base line .If your BP is up and down its you.If your BP is in the same range with the chemist take yur BP machine back and say its not working. But at least you have their results to go by.

That 100% helped the first 2 weeks as my heart was racing every 2 hours at first.I was tied to my bed through the heart But after the 2 weeks heart slowed down. I am yet to see if I should remain in Amlodipine but my G.P said I need to see the consultant to see what she says. So he obviousy wasn,t willing to take me off . If the consultant says yes I can come off I will know that it is diet that is effecting my heart. However it is not until October. So I will stay on them until then.

I came to recognise that my bp would soar alarmingly during stressful situations so I am working with deep breathing and visualisation techniques. The mind is a powerful tool, visualisation is effective in altering our chemical reaction to life's less pleasant events. This might sound a bit too new age for some, the alternative is mind control by outside forces, medication, operations, ect. I choose to work with the natural cures available.
