spirometers are prescribed commodity I still have mine but not like the one in the picture I can no longer use mine like I can no longer have my peak flow checked by the copd nurse.

Yes, amazon.co.uk/CONTEC-PF10-Po... don't use it too often as I bought it to find out my "normal" level. If I'm not feeling too good then I check just to see if it's changed indication a possible infection starting

I find a home spirometer is most useful to determine whether a breathing attack is the result of a lung issue , or a panic attack.

I have blown into my spirometer in the midst of a breathing attack and seen my levels are within the norm for me, and this almost immediately stopped the panic attack and my breathing returned to normal. I find without a spirometer the brain can feed the cycle of panic.
