LOL too true - on the way home my fan belt blew! Of course it had to be on a dark night in the middle of the North Yorkshire Moors. But the rescue man came and fixed it. 2 miles down the deserted road the same thing happened again. I was so cold! If only I had eaten the sprouts earlier the warm air would have been appreciated. LOL

Sounds pretty scary stuff stuck out there on the moors late at night but thought you girls could use your stockings to replace the fan belt :) . Any excuse to call out a very nice man eh'.

We have the heating on and the roast beef, sprouts, cauli, broccoli and roast potatoes and parsnips for lunch, just like any winter Sunday afternoon.

I also have the salt lamps on the lovely colour makes it feel warmer, don't ever remember being this cold in July.

Hi Polly

Never heard of salt lamps until I googled it a few mins ago.

It may need new post but I would be interested in what they are for and why you use them etc.

Seems like its just gonna keep on raining today guy's gad dam it. I set myself up well this morning with a full English (home alone) so no more food for me till much later. I reckon its a good afternoon for some indoor exercise, its a way to warm yourself up and keep yourself fit for when the sun returns.

Of course this probably won't apply for poor old Tam up there in Aberdeen where the sun only shines for 2 days on a good year.

sorry Tam :) . Looking forward to the 2018 world cup group F with the mighty Scotland in our way. :) .

Sounds like the worlds turned upside down. :)

Maybe. We've not had the terrible floods or storms that many parts of England & even Scotland have been getting recently. Our weather is always better. We're lucky 😎😂

Go on...they need a good boiling!
