Brompton Hospital

I recently attended the Brompton re Pulmonary Hypertension. I met with the PH Consultant and also a COPD consultant then had an ECG and then a more in depth heart test also bloods, x ray and a 6 minute walk test. I have severe COPD. It seems that although my heart has taken a beating (pardon the pun) I don't as yet have actual heart damage. Anyway received a call today from the COPD Consultant inviting me for a sleep test followed by various other tests at Harefield. I have had insomnia for several years even before my COPD became severe. I would like to know if anybody has any experience of an overnight sleep clinic test and what to expect?

Many thanks

Malinka

I have had one at the Brompton Sleep Clinic . It is no problem . They just put electrodes on you which monitor everything during the night .
