just putting my bikini on and getting a whiff of the chlorine takes my breath away and I am only moderate COPD, so I will have to get myself re assessed, after I dry the sweat off

My doctor told me last year it doesn't really matter what your lung function is it's how it affects you that matters and I decided to do as much as I can so stopped smoking, eat healthily and swim 3 times a week and use my exercise bike in between. Not planning on giving in to the disease too quickly

Exactly the same as me Dipsey, my doctor told me last year to stop smoking as I had severe COPD.

Well I quit the very next day and joined the local amateur athletics club, now I run a mile every morning

well done, you are an inspiration, just because we have severe COPD we are not disabled
