I have lost count how many Infections I have had this year. My GP said the last one was E Coli . Is this a common infection.

Like you, Teddyd, I have lost count of the chest infections I have had over the years. I always a rescue pack with me. I suffer from bronchiectasis and asthma. I have had e.coli infection which is generally found in the gut, but not often in the lungs. So we like to be different, dont we!! All the best annieseed x
Never heard of E-Coli being a cause of lung infections, but it is one of the most prevalent forms of food poisoning
Often spread due to lack of hand washing after toilet, before food preparation etc. Not you, but if you buy food in a cafe and they haven't followed basic hygiene rules, that can do it.
