I'm back :)

Hi everyone

I got back from Spain on Saturday after 10 days relaxing, we had one day where I did too much and my bpm was really high the following day, it soon went back to normal (my normal anyway)

I had a zoom meeting with work about going back to work and I started back this morning, I am on a phased return mostly morning apart from 2 days where I'm in all day.

I also had an doctors appointment this afternoon and my BP has rocketed, so I'm on medication for that as well as everything else.

Hope you are all well

V x

Good to read that you enjoyed your holiday and are both safely home again!

Learn to pace yourself at work and listen to your own body - teaching can be very stressful and tiring. It’s very rewarding too!

All the best, Jane

Say hello to mum from us all 🤭😂😂, glad she's OK.

Pleased to hear you had a good time, there's nowt wrong with overdoing it sometimes, if you enjoy it. Well done for going back to work!! That's very brave 😇😇

Good to heat that you had a good holiday and that Mum behaved herself! I bet that has given you some much needed confidence. With regards to your phased return, take it easy and if it tires you out, please tell your HR Department. Don't run before you can walk otherwise you'll put yourself back.

Thank you for the update.Sounds all good while you relaxed on holiday. It’s just a matter of time until you are stable on medication.

This sounds a positive for you going forward.

One step at a time , small changes and you will gain confidence going forward.

Glad to see you back and well rested (and mum still going strong lol).

Hope your phased return is successful... if you ever feel it's too much then step back.

Have occupational health been informed?

so pleased Mum made it back too 😉

We fly back tomorrow. Weather has been kind but it’s getting much cooler in the evenings now.

Yes, it’s easy to over do things when you’re holiday🙄

Hope your return to work runs smoothly.

Good luck and best wishes

🌸
