Yes my reading is 121000 due to Apixiban which In some people can lower platelet count

so scary isn't it. They don't think it's covid vac as that was done in May. They say ITP. immune system under attack

Yes it is pretty scary Jac58- . I'm having a GP check my spleen etc., tomorrow, first time I've actually seen someone face to face for months. Still feeling ok, just disgusting looking bruises popping up and I look pretty gruesome in swimwear!! Really want the reason and the flipping Platelets to return to normal status, been rather a long time now and NICE guidelines say diagnosis & treatment should be carried out asap. Think I'm still being monitored for now at least.

I'm having the same. I'm on high steroids. they did go up but gone back down again he said its treatable and sustainable. how you feeling otherwise

Feeling ok, just don't want to end up feeling poorly. Up to them (GP & Haematology) I suppose, to try to sort out reason. I suspect the Rivaroxaban, but then, I'm no medical expert!
