Hello and welcome to the forum!

A couple of thoughts. Have you been doing the breathing exercises? Also have you stuck to the half kettle of water weight limit? If it continues ring your GP to check it out. Good luck.

Hi Michael. Thanks for your reply.. Drinking 1.5 offs of water daily not doing my breath in exercises as often. Start again today. BP and blood sugar good. Even though I have the occasional Christmas Choc. I go for my walk every day about 30 - 40 minutes x x

Hi I had pain round about there after my surgery, I mentioned it to my cardiologist and it turned out it was the cartilage between my ribs healing, a week or so on painkillers and it was a lot better, it might be worth saying it to your doctor or nurse, and they could check it for you, in case of infection or anything, Bishop caught my eye, unusual to see it if that's your name, apart from my relatives I have never known anyone else to have it take care char

Bishop 1 was a nickname we had in Ireland. Surname was Doona before I became Mrs Murphy nearly 50 years ago. There was so many families of Doona s in our little village. We all had a nickname. Have a good day and stay safe x x

I had my quadruple last October and had sternum pain for some weeks after but it is now okay. Hated those twinges but now ceased!

Have you tried a hot water bottle on your sternum? (helps a lots) assuming the scar has healed nicely, then its just the bones knitting together and trauma from the surgery. I wouldnt expect anything to be "normal" before 3 months :-) HTH
