Hello SKIMMYt
Welcome to the forum, a club non of us thought we would be joining.
When we have a heart event, wether it’s a heart attack or a diagnosis of one of the other many heart problems. It’s a huge shock. I was 68 never had anything wrong found myself having open heart surgery Aortic valve replaced and bypass.
At the moment your brain is working out what as happened to you, and every small pain will set off alarm bells. Having said that you need to be aware anything that is worrying you needs checking, either with your cardiologist or GP.
It takes time to get over these heart events and to a degree we never do but we do learn to live our lives again.
I wish you well with your recovery, remember you are now a member of the Hearties family and if you need to talk ask questions someone will be along to help, or even give you a shoulder to lean on if that’s what you need.

Thank you I spoke to gp surgery but didn't get much help told me to go to A&E but then my cardio nurse phoned me and helped me a bit she spent more time talking me through the nature of the pain and I feel abit more relaxed I explained my fear of going back to hospital which she understood . I've rested now as had no sleep last night and feel slightly better .
Thank you see my reply below I've taken my spray as instructed by my cardio nurse and feel a bit better I was always a bit of a worrier and 9/10 nothing came of my worries and when I did have my event I wasn't worried I thought I had indigestion until the pain got worse . Glad I've joined this group and see stories of others in similar situation . Covid is scaring everyone and think that's been adding to my concerns. Thanks again
