Hi guys I posted few months ago but wanted to ask if anyone had all the small heart tests ECHO, ECG etc where results were clear?!! yet when they had MRI there was anything found???
I’ve been looking for a company to give me cardiac mri for nearly 8 months , all my GPs keep saying I don’t need one , cardiologist don’t wanna know, yesterday I found a company called vista health that only offer the cardiac mri along with full body mri (which wasn’t what I wanted) for 2k , it’s expensive but I’m thinking I need the scan to rule out stuff!!
Any thoughts?

I had a 90 minute MRI scan 5 months ago after a couple of echocardiograms showed what the thought could be either a reoccurrence of a Myxoma or a blood clot. The MRI scan gave them all the information they needed. Apparently they are the gold star of scanners. I would say if it will put your mind at rest and you can afford it go for it . Have you thought about checking out local cardiologists in nearby hospitals who offer a private service .
Thanks for info, yea I had one that asked me “what do you want me to do?” After I explained my symptoms , I couldn’t believe it lol , so I didn’t stay with him , I’m seeing one next Wednesday but I don’t know weather to cancel , get my scan first then re book with results from scan with him??? And he can go through results with me, which the more I think about it , it seems the better idea , luckily I have the money so I may book , I’ll keep people updated if it helps others to Pursue their problems

That's where I had 2 cardiac MRI scans in Sept & Oct via BUPA. I don't know if they accept self-referrals if you can't get any doctor to refer you for the MRI scan, but you could enquire with them first.
