Will I be classified as at risk

I had a triple bypass operation at the end of August, I also have type 2 diabetes. So will I fall into the group of at risk? I only ask as my brother has the same issues and has been told to self isolate

The letters are still being sent out and people have been advised they should receive them by April 2nd.

My understanding is that neither condition alone would put you in "highest risk" group. I have had a quadruple bypass and also have Type I diabetes, PAD and slightly reduced eGFR. What is unclear is how they assess multiple conditions. I know someone who has multiple conditions but not one is listed. They have, however, received a 12 week isolation letter. I am waiting till the 2nd and if I then have not heard will ring my GP to clarify. My recommendation would be to the same.

I shall be checking with gp as my brother has received letter with only a triple bypass as medical condition(genetic).

Thanks for the reply

I have Type 2, high BP and non obstructive CAD. Received a text from GP yesterday advising me to practice social distancing for the next 12 weeks as I “have a long term condition.”

So it appears that surgeries are working through their lists and you should hear something soon.
