Oh I've been there got the T shirt ouch indeed!

Lego is still the best toy ever though.

Was like a scene from a Godzilla movie with my big foot crushing a little lego house, except that Godzilla was never a wimp who then hopped about trying not to swear!

Love lego though, got some technic sets to build while recoving from bypass.

Both of my sons loved technics sets.

Our house is full of various models.

I think it was what lead them to their choices of degree at university. Physics and Civil Engineering

What was the reaction of the model builder?

Yeah, they are amazing STEM toys for developing young minds.

My four year old daughter whose lego house (in the loosest description) didn't find out, I rebuilt it quickly to spare the tears!

Better than a roller skate 🛹 on the stairs! 😁

My great nephew is a fan particularly of the (expensive) Star Wars ones. I have a Lego Ferrari from Christmas and could well imagine it being constructed a number of times in the coming weeks!

In the day I was a great fan of Meccano . I also had a Betta Builda. It solved the issue of sloping rooves well and I vaguely remember building bungalows, chalets, houses and castles. I do not think I have thought about it for decades!

That sounds lethal rather than just painful!

Sadly the Harry Potter lego sets my eldest daughter likes makes the Star Wars sets look cheap ☹️. Meccano do a really nice Ferrari F1 set actually, I made it over Xmas, great fun!
