Wow very impressive presentation. I particularly liked his vision of prevention being better than cure as I feel within our current NHS system there is not much in the way of Pro active investigations / reviews for those known to be at risk. It's more a case of rs refer yourself if you are having problems by which time further damage is done. Dr o you know if this device is on the market yet - I haven't yet searched for trials if it
Is BHF doing anything constructive to improve the current state of affair in Cardiology, being mainly being the last minute rescue team and most worryingly, not dealing with patients, who are slowly but steadily marching their way to have a full-blown disease?
Some people call it "cured" but nobody is cured. Once you got the disease, neither stenting nor bypass is a cure.
