I was only diagnosed with psoriasis when my misdiagnosed joint pain was diagnosed as psoriatic arthritis.

My doctor told me I had three different infections all at the same time. Gave me antibiotics and fungicides and said would clear in two weeks..... well four years on I have a new doctor now.

I was diagnosed with RA 18 years ago and after I stopped Leflunamide last year I was covered with Psoriasis , my rhumatologist advised I had Psoriatic Arthritis and I was probably mis-diagnosed.

I was diagnosed with early onset osteoarthritis in my jaw and then my knee in 2007-9ish.

Then early onset multi-site osteoarthritis (jaw, both knees, R hip, hands, feet, lower back) and hypermobility syndrome in 2011-12.

Then osteoarthritis, hypermobility syndrome and fibromyalgia in Nov 2015.

Then osteoarthritis, hypermobility syndrome, fibromyalgia and low level inflammatory arthritis a few weeks later when ultrasound scans showed synovitis in my hands.

Then finally psoriatic arthritis a month ago, after the rheumy saw photos of a rash which I have had many times before over several decades, but which had never before been diagnosed, and identified it as flexural/inverse psoriasis... It's not clear to me whether the diagnoses of osteoarthritis, hypermobility syndrome and/or fibromyalgia still stand; I suspect at least the FM will be 'removed' because the PsA explains my pain better...

I was diagnosed with Gout by my GP yet when the A&E Doctor took a look she instantly said PsA.
