Thank you for your answer! How long did the numbness last and did you do anything to help it go? I seem to have been given very conflicting medical opinions! Hope you are well now.
A Was Not On Any Meds Or Inhalers ...... When Suffering From That As My Doctor Thought It Was Stress
It Was Only When I Started Getting Antibiotics My Dizziness Numbness Stopped ..... My Arms Would Go Numb Just Trying To Shave
Yes it is a side affect of this medication, you should seek medical advise asap,
Thanks for your reply. I did seek advice from GP and was told trapped nerve, lung inflammation, lungs overworking to fight infection, not antibiotic etc etc, am none the wiser and feeling very, very ill. Have bronchiectasis.
Sounds Like You Need New Doctor ... Or Insist On Antibiotics And Anti-Inflammatory Inhaler If Your Coughing Up Lots Of Mucus And Plugs .... My Doc Come Out With BS With Me Going On About How A Was Sufering From Stress ... And It Only Being Trapped Nerve
I Have Also Read Out Numb Arms .... And I Was Not Impressed With Treatment I Received From My Gp
Need To See Doc Again Tell Them You Have Spoken To Someone At BLF ... Be Creative Till You Give BLF A Call Or Email
Hullo, Daz - sorry to hear about this. I've not heard about this before but hope the numbness is better. I have got very conscious of the side effects nowadays. I have had some weird things happen.
Hi Katie
I sometimes have semi numbness in my right arm but think it is more to do with arthritis than my bronchiectasis. Have recently had horrid reaction to the antibiotic rifampicin reacting with another drug, but I am intolerant to Cipro.
Are you finding your physio difficult?
It might be helpful to give BLF a call, see a different GP if it persists or check out with your consultants secretary.
Hope this settles soon for you hun.
