Hi Peter, I only know about my portable Airsep, details of which can be found here: - healthoxygen.com/airsep-fre.... It’s been a sanity saver for me as it means I can get out and about without the inconvenience of a cylinder. It lasts about 3 hours on one charge (at 1litre), but the extra battery pack increases this a few more hours – all details on the website. It can be plugged into the car lighter socket or into the mains to recharge. Not cheap – it cost us £3000 including the extras in May 2008, and because it had so much use we needed to replace it with a reconditioned model after 3 years at a further cost of £1200. Having said that I think it was worth every penny. Pity though that we can’t get some of it back from the NHS as we’ve saved them a fortune in the supply and delivery of replacement cylinders since we bought the portable.

Hope this helps a bit. Maybe someone else will be along soon with some alternatives.

All the best, Jan

Sorry, that link seems to have stopped working. If you want to look it up try just healthoxygen.com then go to Portable O2 and click on Freestyle. Should work now! And you'll see all their other products.

Hi Jan. thanks for the info. Agree with what you say about costs and the saving to the NHS.

I read somewhere that the NHS will "eventually" be able to supply "some" patients. Am checking the sky for a squadron of pigs!!

Kind Regards,

Peter

Hi I have just bought a Freestyle Airstep from smile I paid £2750.00 I got £50 off because I belong to BLF that comes with everything chargers for an air belt which gives you extra oxygen time, plus it comes in a nice bag, they were the cheapest site, hope this helps
