I have recently had horrendous pain im my elbow and acupuncture helped almost immediately and I now only have a slight pain which I can live with. Perhaps that could be an option? TAD xx

Caused by lung complaint ?

I've had shoulder pain which spreads up my neck and down my arm since about May this year. There's limited movement, so much so that I've had to buy front fastening bras as I can't twist my arm back . After seeing the doctor I now have an appointment for an injection into the muscle, but that's not until January. I was also given a form to refer myself to physio (though I still haven't done that).

I had now 3 injections into my [L] shoulder (One under guided ultrasound / all steroidal injections to reduce inflammation) but NOnNE reduced pain for more than a week or two!

Good luck! I shall be under muscolosceletal specialist investigation (possible neck involvement?)

It sounds like rotator cuff inflamation. you can a steroid injection which you will hardly feel compared to the pain of the inflamed shoulder but dont expect an over night improvement, it can take months. Ask your Doctor about this, i'm very surprised that it hasn't been suggested already.

I had several (3) steroidal injections already - NONE helped with more than a week or two in pain relief - pain came back with a vengeance!

Got steroid injection for tennis elbow it was rubbish and on the list for surgery now when it was a real painful injection that goes in deep, ask about success rate before deciding what is best treatment.

Handbag shoulder with women carrying more weight on one shoulder and not changing sides is a common shoulder injury when not doing active sport and stuff.
