I’m not sure what the point of this test is? I have very low neutrophils as they were obliterated by rituximab to control my vasculitis. Neutrophils also play a part in Bronchiectasis which is common in people with autoimmune diseases.

A few years ago I had a Bone Marrow test in which it was discovered I had very white cells. I attended the haematologist for two years and then passed on to my GP. Earlier this month my neutrophils were down to 1.5, but they do vary, but never get above 2.5. I have an appointment on Wednesday morning with the practice nurse to discuss my recent blood tests.

Lymphocytes in another blood test this month were 2.17. 2.17/1.5 = 1.44 NL ratio. 2.17/2.1 = 1.03 NL ratio.

I’m also having heart tests at the moment and a lung function test. Once they decide what’s wrong with me I may have a clearer picture.
