my husband has had pulmonary fibrosis for about 5/6 years now, he’s coughing almost constantly, it’s really getting him & me down, is there anything he can take to ease it? Thank you.

I have been given Codein Linctus which works well

Might be worth discussing oromorph with the GP/consultant. I know this helps a lot of PF people.

I'm sorry to hear this. There are a lot of coughing bugs going round. I think you really need to talk with his GP, since I expect you've tried all the over the counter medicines. Best wishes.

I take oxycodone (allergic to morphine) and codeine linctus and they really help.

I take Morphine for pain, but it helps my breathing also.
