This poem is on a paperweight friend gave me many years ago. I look at it, and wonder how I can make more time. I’ve just started Nebulising, can read few minutes before specs steam up too much!

There is a story about time being like space in a box. You can fill it with cannon balls - the big things in life - and it is full. But into the spaces between you can fit smaller tennis balls, and the box is still full; but into the spaces between the cannon balls and the tennis balls you can fit marbles; and while the box is still full, you can fit ball bearings; and even though the box is still full, you can fit some grains of sand.
The trouble is, I'm so busy using every moment to do things, that I often forget to stop and relax and meditate for a while, which is also a valid use of the space in my box of time.
Time is something we dont have when working, rushing around trying to get everything done. Since retiring its lovely to enjoy the time we can now have, the only thing that spoils it is our illness x
