BLF have a benefits advisor r0yalalbert . Why not give the BLF helpline a call on 03000 030555 during office hours and they will arrange for her to call you back.

Thank you,Iwill

Welcome to the forum. My advice would be to definitely get help with the form as it's extremely long & complicated, so much so that I suspect it's designed to put people off applying. I'm used to form-filling, but when I tried to apply for my mother, I gave up and asked Age UK for help. One of their benefits advisors came to visit my mother, and she was awarded AA.

Somebody from the Citizens Advice Bureaux helped my parents with their forms. It's worth asking .

If you were 65 on 8th April 2013 you can apply for Attendance Allowancwe. If any younger it will have to be PIP instead. x

I was granted AA a few years ago, and it was with the help of Age UK.

I took one look at the form .....went Argh !!!! And phoned Age UK, a man came to my home and we filled the form in together, I was awarded AA.

Now when I need to reapply the same man comes to help again, I would be lost without them.🦋
