A good friend? I've avoided wearing them since childhood, but sometimes only wellies will do. :-)

yes walking through thick mud, when I was on the farm you would be paddling in mud walking along often carrying something then suddenly have a wet foot look down no boot it was sicking up in the mud a pace behind you so had to try hop back to it , i normaly put the toe of one on the heal of the other one to pull it of then the one your left wearing i put the heal on the door threshold , there is a thing you can buy that is shaped so you put the heal into it and pull i will try find a link for you and put on later

Hi mmzetor, e bay do boot removers....my husband made one from a bit of strong wood though.

You can get long handled shoe horns, and you tube do a video.....how to get your boots on......but that's for western boots which are wider.

Pulling them off is easy...l get my husband to do it !!!

Putting them on.....l struggled.

I have got some boots now that with welly feet and waterproof material for the leg part, with a zip....alot easier, you can get them for men and women, and they are warmer.

Try sitting on a chair and putting one leg over the other in turn and pull them on slowly. Works with shoes. :)

Yes there is wellies with a zip.

I bought them from a shop called town and country. ..green colour and very warm as they are lined...cost 80 pounds about 18 years ago.....can you beleave that where made in Thailand.

Andy.
