Evening
Aqueous cream which you can buy in the pound shop, doesn't smell very nice but the smell doesn't linger. I also use Epsom salts in my bath keeps skin lovely and soft, don't use it every time I also use Original Source as it's all
natural. My nurse told me you don't have to cut out all things just be sensible.

Hi Kimmy
On a leaflet from a consultant dermatologist I saw some time ago Aqueous cream was recommended but had been scratched out. The dermatologist then told me they do not now recommend using this cream as they have found it can cause problems with the skin.

Hope that might be useful to you both.

When using Aqueous cream, the skin on my arms turned red and was very itchy, after a long time discovered my skin reacted to sunlight when using this cream. I found an oil free cream by googling for one, its NEUTROGENA oil-free moisturiser, I think I bought it in Morrisons.
I was going to recommend any 'own brand' (because it's cheaper) aqueous cream but after reading the above I don't know what to say. Perhaps you could ring the BLF Helpline to see what they recommend. Good luck and take care, Lizzy.
I am sorry but I don't understand, when I was put on oxygen no one said anything about using special cream. I have noticed my skin is very dry, so any advice would be great. thanks, Chinka
Many thanks lots of good advice x
