I’m a 65 yr old lady, I have A fib due I am told to hyperthyroidism. My thyroid had been what I called zapped but during covid I took A fib. After having my heart stopped and restarted I received no further medical support. After several A&E visits due to heart rate and still no appointment with cardiologist I paid to see one. He put me on medication that had opposite effects so I went on a waiting list a year and 5 months ago for an ablation. My local hospital have told me in march that my heart is damaged and I have congestion so now on fluid med as well as heart med. my GP had told no need for blood clotting meds even though I was told that I had to take them at 65. It’s all very confusing
I’m wondering what is my life expectancy?
